Once again Gordon Club held a highly successful Spring Carnival, the '2009 Century 21 Superbowl'. All eyes were on the weather, with several wet days in the lead-up to the Labor Day public holiday on Monday October 5. But despite early cloud a full day of play ensued, the rain finally arriving a half hour after the trophy presentations. 36 teams (men's women's and mixed triples) from all over Sydney competed enthusiastically, enjoyed the wonderful lunch provided by our very efficient catering team from the Women's Club, and finally gathered to applaud the many prize winners- courtesy of our principal sponsor, Century 21 Cordeau Marshall.
